Parisian Market Tour

Block Image

Do we share a common passion for Parisian markets? You won’t want to miss discovering the Aligre market with me, your French food & culture ambassador!

I’ll share with you how to shop like a local, ideas to inspire your seasonal cooking, and tips on how to interact with market vendors. Fall in love with this exciting, working-class market. I did, almost 20 years ago, when I lived in the area. It’s a foodie and antique-shopper’s dream!

The Marché d’Aligre, located near the Bastille in the 12th arrondissement, is actually three unique markets: first, the outdoor Marché d’Aligre is full of vibrant seasonal produce.

The covered Marché Beauvau is an architectural beauty that consists of three halls filled with a variety of cheese shops, butcher shops, and more. Finally, at the center of the quaint plaza is the outdoor Antiques & Flea Market.
