The Belly of Paris Tour

This tour takes you back in time through the heart of Paris’ first “foodie” district, dating from the Middle Ages. You’ll discover the “Belly of Paris” with me, your French food & culture ambassador, and experience the best it has to offer: a famous kitchen supply store, historic restaurants, and Paris’ oldest pastry shop make up some of the fascinating stops on this journey through time and taste. (Of course there’s a tasting…. bien sûr!)

You’ll learn about Paris’ medieval marketplace, stories about typical French foodways, and you’ll discover my personal anecdotes and unknown secrets of France’s powerful food guilds.
